Background
Dr. Erman Coskun is a full professor of Management Information Systems and Operations Research. He has an academic career of over 19 years, having held positions in the United States, Turkey, and Cyprus. He has taught courses focusing on Management Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, and Quantitative Methods and Management Science in both the United States and Turkey.
He has won multiple teaching and career awards, including LeMoyne College and Sakarya University Faculty Member of the Year, Best MBA faculty member, the best Ph.D. advisor, The Most Productive Faculty Award.

- Director of Social Sciences Institute.
- A consultant for a financial credit scoring institution and an ERP software development company.
- An Information Systems program evaluator for ABET, and he is a member of the Association of Information Systems.

- Held various managerial and administrative positions in both Sakarya University, Turkey, and Lemoyne College, USA.
- Served as the Founding Chair of Sakarya University’s Management Information Systems Department and Program.
- Served as the head of Sakarya University’s Quantitative Methods Department.
- Worked in consulting for the private sector and government institutions in the US and Turkey, where he has undertaken multiple projects to establish information systems, decision support systems, and optimize analytical systems.
